Fernando José Torres Sanz. born 20 March 1984, nicknamed El Niño (The Child in Spanish) Spanish footballer who plays for Liverpool and the Spain national crew as a striker. Torres started out his profession with Atlético Madrid, progressing by means of their youth system.
